A beautiful Emerald Cut Emerald commands centre stage with a supporting cast of beautiful, natural diamonds.
Inspired by the Art Deco period, ‘Evelyn’ has a Baguette Diamond to either side for a wonderful 1920s feel.
Emeralds have long been sought after for their beauty. More desirable still, Emeralds are rarer than Diamonds and can appear larger than a Diamond of the same size.
Legend tells us that these beautiful gemstones inspire eloquence and in Ancient Rome, they were known as ‘the gemstone of Venus’ and were said to inspire love and hope.
The Ancient Egyptians believed Emeralds to be the source of eternal life and Egypt was the earliest known source for mining Emeralds. This mine was claimed by Cleopatra and when visiting dignitaries left Egypt, she presented them with their likeness carved into Emeralds.
