Moon Gazing Hare Pendant

£65.00

Our Moon Gazing Hare Pendant.  This beautiful hare is gazing up at a rainbow moonstone.  The hare appears throughout the ages in many different cultures and religions and is associated with the feminine.  The hare is the symbol of the Goddess Eostre who rules over Spring in Pagan tradition. The association with Spring and Easter also means that the hare is often a symbol of fertility.

The hare is admired for strength and speed and continues to fascinate and delight.  The mystical hare has been depicted on the Irish three penny coin and Boudicca was said to have released a hare from under her tunic.  More recently, the hare appears in the Harry Potter stories as the Patronus of Luna Lovegood.  Often associated with the madness of the full moon, it also represents freedom and playfulness.

Wearing the hare reminds us to make time for play and mindfulness.  Gaze up at the full moon and find peace.
